Confirm Diagnosis. Head Gasket?

Hi, I'm loosing coolant in the T4, about 1pt/30miles. Can find no leaks. Oils clean, but... milky deposit on top of coolant in expansion tank when topped up. When run engine up to temperature coolant level drops by a couple of inches, then returns to normal when pressure released. Thinking head gasket.

I'm no expert, but my old rover 400 looked like that just before the head gasket went. Is it overheating a lot too?

I would before you do that to get the oil cooler pressure checked, it's rare but we have had a few fail, mainly on 5 cyls but it's a possibility!
