B4204T High Spec Engine

If I change my V40 as planned, the engine I bought to fit to it will be sold aswell.

Volvo S40 2.0T engine (B4204T 160bhp) 1948cc

Spec;

Phase 1 T4(t2) ported and polished head, standard with solid lifters and high flow valves.
Kalmar Union Forged Rods
Phase 2 T4 lower compression pistons (8.5:1 cr mahle forged OEM) with large valve pockets machined
Volvo B4204S n/a cams
Mopar big end bearing
Mopar main bearings
ARP Bolts
New timing belt.

Was built by a fellow forum member with 5,000 miles covered. 400bhp capable.

Asking for offers close to £850 for the short engine with spec as above excl ancillaries. I'm in Glasgow for viewing & collection or + postage likely to be £60. Available from wk beginning 14th Nov.

Do you know what psi you could run on this engine safely ?

Mo ran at 1.4 bar (k24 turbo,)on an 83mm block with forged internals.But it's not only about the boost,a proper map the most important thing.

Ross9 ran 387 bhp on an 83mm block. Eventually cracked a liner although that was after a long time after much track use. He is still using 83mm block on his current engine!
