Taxing it tomorrow and insurance in 2 months so that'll cost me, after that though I'm looking at more power as already it's feeling like it could be quicker. Also looking at some coilovers as I hate that gap in the wheel arch!
More power????? it can barely handle 200hp through the front wheels lol

197hp would do me fine ha!

Yep, you would think, but the other day I had my foot down in third and thought "hmm, I'm not shooting by these people quite as quickly as I would like"

Don't forget, my friend has a BMW 330CI, my Dad has had T4 since I was a kid and my mum an S40 T5 so quick cars aren't really new to me. It felt really quick at first and scared me but not so much now, seems a bit....normal lol.

Ah but it's because you are now used to it and take it for granted. Take my mum driving my car. She was used to 258ib from the saab and when she accelerated in mine in 4th nothing happened on this hill lol!

Take my car for a day and you'll what I mean

Yep, that's my problem, just used to it lol. It still feels bloody quick but it doesn't shock me so much now, the grin on my face is slightly smaller than it was when I first got it

I know what you mean though, I was out with my sister in her clio the other day explaining how she needs to accelerate hard when joining the motorway because we were going too slow, little did I know her foot was planted to the floor lol

You do take it for granted after a while....

Yeh it's natural you'll want more power. My mum is far too used to the Saab now and when I'm behind her she'll pull away into the distance, and when we speak she'll say she was driving slow! 122bhp suits me fine the now and in the 4k range it pulls pretty well, but under that? Meh!

Quick enough, just not exciting though. A T4 or a Aero Saab would suit me absolutely fine for the real world and I can't imagine wanting more power, saying that more power = more excitement

You will lol.

that's why most people who own T4s on here have modified ones.

PiratePete said so himself

"So your T4 is totally stock?? *scratches head*"

Stock? *puzzled*

lol god forbid you don't want more than 200! Haven't met a T4 owner myself that needed more power outside of this forum.

I'm not too keen on modding myself unless it's done properly and not to the extent the clutch and parts are stressed which would compromise the reliability.

I would love to go crazy on mine, bigger injectors, hybrid turbo or a bigger turbo all together, custom maps so on....

It's too expensive for me at the moment though. Realistically in the near future it'll just get a remap to 230hp and some coilovers on it to drop it a bit.

230hp sounds like a healthy upgrade without going too far
