Good tidy car this, drives well, pulls well and for the money, a right little scorcher!

Someone get it bought!

FYI, it seems the car was registered before 01/03/2001, which means it's on the slightly cheaper tax rate (it's not much cheaper though!)

However now I've got an insurance quote I don't think this is a goer until The Wife™ has learned to drive... £750!!

Lol, it was £450 for me.

Buy it and keep it on the drive, change the bushes and then it's ready to go!

She's only on her provisional licence, so she'd literally be learning to drive in it (or the diesel), and I think I checked it for me on my own afterwards and it was about £500... the diesel comes up as £318... roughly £100 extra if The Wife™ goes on that. Honestly I think she'll want something smaller than the V40 (and I think the S40 has too many blind spots) but I did ask, and she wasn't totally against it.... if it was April we might have been tempted, just to keep it offroad, but we're still in the flat at the moment so we have no off-road parking available.

£700 is a steal.

Can't you just store it there until sold? If it's off road you can SORN it, and anyone who buys it will need to buy their own VED anyway. It took me about 3 months to sell my last car but it went to the right buyer for the right price.

I'm almost tempted to buy it, get the problems fixed, and sell it for a profit

Rich, I'd consider this for myself if I hadn't just spent the best part of £5k on a kitchen. It's always the same when cars come up - computer says no

Someone really should buy this car, it's a cracking example.

I won't have anywhere to keep her by the time March comes. I'm moving then and I also need the extra funds.
I'd let you buy her, fix her and sell her on if you want
