1997 850 t5 buying advise

Hi, I'm looking at buying a '97 850 t5 awd estate with 280,000 km, that's about 200,000 miles for the poms? It looks great but it is displaying the error for the abs and srs, I'm told that both are actually fine an that something is wrong with the codes... is that actually the truth?? and the boot door squeaks when you open it.. other than that I am told it is fine.

What should I looks out for and what's the deal with the warning lights? Is this common?

ABS and SRS lights aren't usually lit unless there is a fault. Could be simple/cheap to fix, may not be.
