Need help with identification
Hello,
I am new to the club and live in the US. Your club came up in a Google search for VIN information for, what I believe, is a Volvo 1800. We are an auction company and charged with selling a group of cars that were in a barn. Can anyone help me correctly identify the model of this Volvo and where the VIN is located? Thanks in advance! It's a P1800 as seen in the show The Saint.
Vin is probably the 1960's chassis number or scratched off at the bottom. Last edited by SnineT; Jul 21st, 2022 at 17:05. |

The chassis number as stated on the vehicle identification plate is 10897. The car will have been built in early 1964. The Colour 46 is red and upholstery 308-266 , is with black seats and red carpet.
Although there are no details on the register for that particular vehicle, the car with chassis 10901, built only 4 cars later, so probably on the same day is the same colour spec etc. I don't know if you can access the register website in depth, but there are seven photos of that car , which sadly was scrapped some years ago. |
