1962 Volvo 122s
With a heavy heart I have decided to list my 1962 Volvo 122s, affectionately known to me and friends as ‘Big Red’. This has been the first car I have owned after seeing one years ago in Switzerland and saying ‘If I ever need a car I’ll get that one!’. Well I was true to my word and after a year of owning her as a daily driver I now no longer need a car due to an upcoming move and change in employment.
The car has 46,000 miles on the clock (as always no way of telling if that’s original or not), a B20 engine with twin SU carbs and overdrive fitted which unfortunately doesn’t work. The bodywork is the main issue at the moment with rust spots starting to come through in a few spots (see pics). The interior has been redone at some point by one of the 3 previous owners and is very clean & tidy, with the dash also in good condition. It has just past its MOT this week and is taxed till June next year. If interested, want further info or would like to view please feel free to PM me on here or at tom01beaumont@googlemail.com.
