What about the engine. Is this the original B18? Is this being rebuilt?
Will it be painted to the original colour? Likewise interior as per original colour? What is the chassis number, as this may be one of the very first Swedish built cars? |

As a bench mark the car sold by Bonhams today at £18,975 (inc. buyer's premium) is a guide.
This car had a reported bare metal respray, a good engine and bodywork was very straight. It is a LHD model and a later 1800S. |

Originality is key to what a car is worth, the values have surpassed the pimp my ride type of motor!

A nice 1800S went for £18475 at Bonhams auction ay Goodwood today - but it was a left hooker!
Putos, if you look at carandclassic.co.uk a UK dealer is advertising a restored cowhorn at 45 grand!! |

Had a close look at the 1800S sold at the Goodwood Bonham's auction today. It was placed directly adjacent to the main entrance and was therefore getting quite a bit of attention. Although it was LHD and finished in dark green which, in my opinion, is not the best suited for the model, it was in super condition. Paint chrome and trim were excellent and the tan interior very good. So much better value than a Aston Martin DB4GT needing full restoration at £250k+ and a DB5 Vantage needing much of the same at £150k+. Just makes me think the market has gone crazy and must be due a fall soon.............
