Hi, very interested.
Is the car drivable, would it be capable of a journey back to Yorkshire? Does the overdrive work? (this would make the journey much more comfortable) If I decide to buy the car I would travel down on the train & drive it back, would you be able to pick me up from a local train station? A quick response would be appreciated. Cheers, Pete.......... |

121 Estate
Hello Teazel,
I may be able to visit Dorking either this Thursday evening or (better for me) Saturday afternoon - would you be available to show me around the car? I am also very interested in becoming an Amazon estate owner! Can you provide me with any more details regarding the extent of the rot in the chassis and inner wings? Any information on condition of engine and driveline would also be gratefully received. Best Regards, Kean |

Hello Kean,
Hello,
The chassis is truly rotten, the tow bar is not even attached to it and, unless you have welding equipment and plenty of time, I would look for something better. Engine is o.k. but smokes a bit after driving at 70 and then taking your foot off. Gearbox, diff and o.d. seem alright although the o.d. leaks quite a bit and has to be topped up frequently. Hope this has been of help. Teazel. |
