360 GLT leaf springs
I'm looking to stiffen up the rear end on my 340Gl, and have heard that the 360 leafs are a straight swap.
If anyone has any going, please let me know! Tom |

Hi Tom,
if you want to stiffen up the back end you would be quite supprised how much affect a set of dampers has tbh. The 360 GLT springs are supposed to be a little stiffer and lower ride height but they will have gone slightly soggy just the same as all other 300's |

...if you have the money, from most of the sources we've found so far.
Ideally, you'd fit new, stiffer springs and dampers to match, but the difficulty in obtaining suitable springs leads most people to just fit adjustable shocks. Some people fit Land Rover Defender shocks, but they're a long way too stiff for the springs. cheers James
