OWF Junior Member Last Online: Aug 3rd, 2023 08:50 Join Date: Mar 2017 Location: Bath	Automatic Gear Selector Stiff Hi there, I have noticed over the past few weeks the gear selector in my automatic 2005 xc70 seems to have much more resistance when taking out of park or putting the car back into park. All the other gears are much smoother in comparison. It's the same amount of resistance whether the engine is on or off as I tested to see if anything was different. When the brake pedal is depressed to change gear I can hear a sort of click sound from underneath the gear selector area, not sure if this is normal? It happens every time the brake pedal is depressed, I think it's just some sort of unlocking to allow for the gears to be changed, but just thought I would mention as it might suggest a fault. Any help would be great. Thanks
