Default Reversing bulbs

I find that the normal bulbs when reversing are not that good, is there an alternative without high costs?

to swap out the bulbs for higher intensity LED bulbs, don't buy cheap, as you will then need to buy load resistors, otherwise the bulb failure kicks in due to power load difference.

I have been using these for a few months now and they are excellent, loads of light and no errors!
Have tried various other LED reversing bulbs and these are by far the best.

Pair 100W 1156 BA15S 382 P21W XBD WHITE LED STOP REVERSE LIGHT CANBUS Lamp Bulbs

The above link is to buy direct from China, takes about 2-4 weeks to arrive.
If you want quicker delivery buy from a UK seller, but it will cost more.

very much doubt they're 100w, considering the fitting is only wired for 21w lamps... 100w of LED is a large floodlight with giant heatsink - and BRIGHT.
20 of those little diodes is nearer 5w. Hate dodgy marketing!!

bright enough for you use though either way

I couldn’t agree more, they definitely aren’t 100w, that would melt the fittings.
However they are very bright and a very big improvement over standard bulbs.

I bought a pair of those and fitted them today. The true test will come after dark of course but I can see a marked difference....what do we think ?

I bought these and the do interfere with my after market reversing camera, prob about 40% so bear that in mind folks

Just not sure what to do about the headlights, they are pants, as are the fog lights but they prob just need the inside of the glass cleaning
