Default 480 ES - problem with lights

Had Volvo 480 ES for 5 months. Everything Sweet until about a month ago after changing a running light bulb the pop-up lights refused to pop up when needed. Then both front running lights refuse to come on and the pop up lights now need to be brought up manually. If anybody has any ideas why this might be the case please could you let me know. Many thanks Myx

This is a common problem.

Put two new genuine (VOLVO) day running bulbs in and everyhting should be ok.

Thanks Chris, Much appreciated, I'll try it in the next couple of days. Also, Question 1. Will that cure the lights not coming up? Question 2. Is the difference between normal side light bulbs and volvo's own so great?
Either way...thanks again!
