A quick test Mark - remove one bellhousing bolt and a wheel nut, if you can mate the two without any problems, the thread on the bolts is M12 x 1.5 as that's what the wheel nuts are.

I don't have the bellhousing bolts anymore Dave. I'll just have to wait until I get the stand and try an M12 bolt then

I know you don't Mark, they went with the gearbox to Luke but have another read of my post - it should make sense!

Automatic Welding helmet, bought from Amazon for £24.99 delivered. Spotted same helmet in a local store with Sealey stickers over the original brand and a price tag of £72.99 Manual wheel balancer, bought on ebay a few years ago now for about £40, Sealey have just "lauched" one according to Practical Classics this month for £284.95. Manual tyre changer, again an ebay jobby, about £50 - same a a Sealy TC960 which at the time was over £100 - same item! All prices are approximate/accurate to the best of my rememberance. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/06168-eng...r/372485192388 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sealey-En...0/254102559934 One branded Sealey engine stand, one unbranded one for (technically) less than half the price of the Sealey unit. They look identical and almost certainly are. You could also look at secondhand units, either way you could sell the unit on after - with the secondhand one, chances are you'll recoup all your money (or even make a profit), you'll lose a bit on a new one butdepends whether you want to start with a brand new one or not.

I looked at 2nd hand, but wanted it for this weekend. There wasn't anything local enough to warrant spending the time collecting it unfortunately.
I went for ebay item 382953029277 mostly because it was cheap and had 4, rather than 3 wheels. I've not unpacked it yet so not sure if its any good! Ordered Sunday evening and arrived Tuesday.
