Default 2012 Volvo S80 D3 Air Con Issue

My air con has not been working correctly for a while. Yesterday in 30 deg heat it wouldn't work at all, just blowing hot air. It wasn't until the temp dropped by 5 deg that it started to work once again.
Today I have been to my garage for a regas. They recovered 779g of refrigerant and recharged it with 801g. Which to my way of thinking was not a great deal. I suspect that that this will not have cured the issue. I would welcome any comments that could indicate another issue which could be causing the problem.
I would add that I have now used an iCarsoft diagnostic tool for Volvo & Saab and it is reading Code B1A6909 Humidity Sensor, General Electrical Failures, Component Failure. Where is the Humidity Sensor located and is this component easy to replace, or is it a garage job with specialised tools etc.

does the radiator fan turn on at a slow speed when you turn the AC on ?

Can you see the centre of the pump pulley rotating when you are not getting cold air ?

Yes to both questions, radiator fan is rotating at a slow speed and the pump pulley is rotating

The pulley will always rotate.
Is the centre clutch plate on the pulley rotating also?

To avoid this thread becoming any more like pulling teeth, just get it hooked up to a proper reader like Dice and Vida.
It will save having to drag out every detail of the issue one question at a time and will instead point to the problem very easily.

that suggests the most likely thing is lack of gas ... a few possible internal causes as well but highly unlikely in my 40 years of repairing them ..
