V40 roof rails

anyone know where i can buy some but not from volvo??

I have a Thule set which are good, and come with a V40 fitting kit. I can say this because they are for sale! My new car has built in roof rails. I am based in SW London. E-mail me here if interested:

I did investigate buying original Volvo parts and installing O.E. roof rails, but the cost for parts alone was >£300.

I would say bars (across) the roof. I looked into this when i bought mine, and thule don't do rails. Also I wasn't keen on the clamping around the door opening to hold them on.

Dealer price for new rails was £450+, and £240 from a breaker when I asked in february.

I bought a set of genuine bars on ebay for £60, that screw into the same holes has the rails do. Suit me, although the rails would have looked better :D

I definitely want rails, there was a set on ebay a couple of months ago, buy it now for 150 quid, i missed them and now i'm kicking myself.

Just keep looking! I recently got a set off ebay for £172 delivered. Virtually as new, but they are like rocking horse stuff, so if you see a set, best get them!
