RE: T4 owners!! advice
Haha mr experiment thats me,
Don't bother with an induction kit i put one on my old phase one and it actually lost power didn't gain it and it was a crap fit or the K&N one i had was. I've just got a K&N panel filter in mine now, you can feel a slight improvement, but i have a exhaust system aswell. One thing i will say is take the plate off the front of the airbox, you can only see it if you take the battery out, its held on with four self tappers, it will sound evil under hard acceration then. I also took airbox cold feed off aswell cos it just goes into inner wing behind indicator so i couldn't see point in it as it won't really get any cold air.

yup yup, Dan, Think i may have blagged the foam idea from one of your old posts, ta
& i'm gonna have a look this weekend to see the best place to run a cold air supply from might try behind the front grill perhaps? dont fancy running it from under the front spoiler, too many deep puddles & badgers around my way |

If you take that side panel off the air box does it effect the running of the car.
