Default V50 alarm system service message

Hi
The above message appeared on my 2005 V50 today, yet when I plugged in Vida/dice there's no mention of an alarm fault ? The message remains on the dash display. I've had the message on V70's due to the internal battery failure in the siren, but I'm sure Vida picked it up ?

I had this message when I flattened the main battery, so I assume it's some form of power issue.

It went after a drive and I don't think anything showed in Vida either when I connected it.

I'd check your batteries first. Vida can do that if you don't have a multi-meter.

Hi I had this message when my alternator was replaced the garage said also that it may be the siren alarm battery, but they could not change it there and then. I drove it out of the garage and the message went out and never appeared again!!
