Default Wheel paint and suspension question

OK so the V50 has had both front wheel bearings replaced. Not cheap - just over 500 quid all in - but very obviously the right thing to do from the first 100 yards down the road! It's a bit shocking how much of the motorway shudder and noise was just the bearings. Well, that and me driving 2,400 miles on the old ones...

The performance now is massively improved (or at least, quieter) and the improvements pretty much absolve the wheels from being messed up structurally. Cosmentically though it's a different story: I think the finish is original and it is lifting and nasty looking in several places. Not losing pressure, though, so again I think they're not beyond help.

What kind of help, though? Can I rattle-can them and that's all? I saw a kit on eBay that says it's "like plastikote" and can recolour and protect wheels. Is there a visiting refurb service? I am already in the run-up to the next big trip and can't do spares and swaps games in the time available. Any suggestions?

Separately, both me and the garage noticed that the OSR wheel seemed to be canted in at the top. It doesn't seem to be warped and there's no knackered bushing noises, so we've left it for now. Simultaneously, I note that PFS Parts still have the 'standard' Bilstein set of 4 shocks for £180 for the v50. Given that investigating the canted-in wheel will involve enough dismantling that they might as well put the Bilsteins in, has anybody got a report of how much better the B4 variant is than the standard shocks at 131k?

I did a full refurb of my wheels year ago with anthracite gray paint (powder coated), used a company specialising in that . Results are astonishing (see the big pic from my signature) as for looks, but also helped a lot with drive comfort. Wheels were straightened (2 were buckled) and all chips were fixed. Looked like brand new set and drives great aswell (no wobble on steering anymore).
Not a cheap fix (paid 430e for all but its like 80e per wheel if only chip&paint. If its buckled than you pay extra).
They also provided me 4 spare wheels to drive on so no hassle there, I think its a general practice in such companies.
