Brake booster & removing trim
I have a 07 S40 and I have a vacuum leak on the brake booster. I have a small hiss, once the pedal is depressed it stops. The leak is tiny, I'm the only one who seems to be able to hear it. No problems with the brake assist working either.
I have had a search round a few forums and it looks like a pig of a job to do. I've read a few people have had success wiping a bit of silicone around the top to seal it? I'm trying to get the trim off under the steering wheel. I've removed the 3 T20, the side panel and vent & the panel behind the radio. I still can't get the panel off. Feels like it's being held by the carpet? Does this tuck into the panel? |
