Default Weird rubbing noise east

C30 2.0d 2008

I have a rubbing noise I can hear from inside the car though with windows down it can't be heard. It a very slight rubbing noise which I thought might be coming from the brake pads & I can hear it as I drive but the noise disappears each time the brake pedal is slightly depressed. Though brake discs are warm after a drive they are not hot so I assume this is just normal braking heat.

Any ideas? More frustrating than concerning just now.
