Default 2009 C70 2.0D - Air lock in fuel pipe

Hi

I'm new to the forum and I own a lovely ice white C70 2.0D 2009 that I bought in November 2016 with 59,500 miles ( now 65,300)

Re-occuring problem staring in March and then last week (19 Sept 2017).

After standing overnight just no hint of starting but had always started easily until the non starting time.

The home call out could not solve the problem and on each occasion the car had to be transported to my local garage.

They just pressurised the fuel pipe through to the injectors and car stared on first attempt.
I did in fact pushed the car just into the red rpm a couple of times through the gears on a 30 mile journey to see how the car performed.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Johnny G

Engine stop flap bolted where you would normally find a throttle unit on inlet manifold is jamming closed when you switch engine off due to plastic swelling with age,

Needs taking off and setting about with a file or a dremal to stop it sticking
