Default C70 MK2 Front wheels ABS

Just replaced (not put the uprights back on the car as yet) the front wheel bearings on my C70 Mk2 year 2007 car

And I am a bit mystified re the ABS sensing

There does not seem to be a reluctance ring

Does the ABS sensor need one or does it just monitor the actual bearing and its rotation

OR WHAT

There was no RR on the old bearings that I took out using the PICKAVANT TOOL (was an easy peasy job once I got the uprights out of the car) and there is no RR on the new bearings

HELP PLEASE

thanks

Hi mate,

It's all built in. As long as you have correct part, you don't have to worry. Cheers!

Gosh I hope i have the correct parts.

It was a bugger doing the first side as I did not have a scissors type ball joint splitter at that point in time.

And the three small 8mm screws that hold on the disc backing plate to the upright were a RPITA to get out.

Two, one on each side, needing heat and even then they were really very difficult to remove, but eventually with lots of effort and struggles they came out.

Once the uprights were out of the car the special Pickavant bearing removal tool had the bearings and hubs out quickly and the new ones in even quicker

thanks
