Track_Rod Member Last Online: Jun 29th, 2007 03:54 Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Fylde Coast, Lancashire	I had a new black, 6 speed manual V50 2.0 diesel loaned to me for a couple of weeks by Volvo HQ. It was a lovely car to look at and drive. The handling was very sharp and the engine just kept giving power all the way through the very precise 6 speed box. I was quite amazed at the power available vs. my 2.4 D5 S60. The only niggles were a rather fiddly audio/phone system and I didn't get on too well with the built in sat nav. I found the engine (4 cylinder vs 5 in my D5) quite unrefined, a little harsh on the noise front and I wasn't that impressed with the boot space. Mind you having owned a 900 estate before perhaps I was expecting a bit much ! Overall I thoroughly enjoyed driving it.
