Don't often share videos and the like here but for those fellow 850/V70 lovers I'm sure this will be enjoyed and generate much discussion

Nice looking 850 in lovely condition, but that engine needs some attention, the Simca 1301 was quieter... For £8k I would expect it to be absolutely minted which it isn't

I find that a lot of the cars that stone cold classics have are over priced. Sure they have to make their money, and that is a nice example of an 850 saloon if a little low specced but the engine is definitely a little ticky. It might be his microphone though.

Yeah, I believe I'm right in saying that quite often when you record the sound of the engine it very much exaggerates any ticking, even the ticking of the injectors, but you're right, if that's how it really sounds then it needs attention.

Default Nice saloon, shame about the low spec.

But is a really nice car, not many would be in such good condition after nearly 30 years of use/abuse. It has obviously been well looked after and with such a low mileage it is still in its puberty for a Volvo. Prefer an estate myself, think it has nicer lines. My T5 is an auto and I love the way you can idle along in a traffic jam, without the constant manually changing gears. Hope it goes to a good home.
