Play in the wheel bearing or driveshaft nut loose would be my guess from that pic

Did you put the screw on the end of the driveshaft that secures it to the hub bearing and tighten it up correctly? If not the driveshaft will move out and in on the bearing splines.

Is the driveshaft bolt (at the centre of the wheel) tight?

Edit: Late to the party! I didn't read all the posts!

Thanks

Checked the centre bolt on the shaft. It was pretty tight. I took it off and found the the shaft had moved in and stuck at the position. Completely unable to get the shaft out. I think I'll have to get the bearing hub out and then remove the shaft

Give the end a good hard bat with a heavy hammer & a copper or brass drift, sometimes they can get quite a hold

I had a similar problem with the splines jammed. If you don't have a puller in order to get it moving on the splines you want to get the driveshaft as straight as possible so either jack up the wishbone(be careful when doing this) or do it with the wheel on the ground and centre cap removed. After removing the centre bolt I smacked it with a hammer and the rounded end of a socket extension bar and that loosened it. Just be careful not to damage the threads. I then cleaned the splines on the shaft and hub with an old toothbrush and then lightly greased.

SOLVED

No more warning lights, no limp mode and no ABS issues...happy days!

I couldn't do it by myself so took the car to a local garage, got the shaft pushed out using a sledge hammer, greased all around and put it back in for £80.

Thank you very much for all your advice.

Happy Christmas
