Cambelt etc change
Hi, I have a 2014 D4 XC60 that has only done 50,000 miles. When I took it for a service I was told that the belts and associated parts need changing as the car is over 6 years old. As I think the service interval for these parts is 108,000 miles or 6 years, what do I do. This is an expensive job.

With regard to expense, if you've went to a main dealer, this will obviously be the most expensive option. So it's worth shopping about and getting a few quotes, at either an independent specialist or a competent garage. |

the cambelt is 108000 miles or 10 years which ever comes first . ( 5 cylinder engine) What IS vital is that the Aux belt is changed at every 54000 miles though , didn't they tell you about that? tensioner for it is changed later with the cambelt when the Aux belt will be changed again ...
