Default Water ingress to under bonnet.

Hi learned people. After the recent downpours and gales the C70 battery was quite depleted and would not start so got the trusty booster out and she started but very rough and seemed like a couple of pots not firing. I was thinking that wet had got under the bonnet, the fuse box was quite wet. Now is there any way of putting a sealing strip down the sides of the bonnet lid?

check the scuttle drains are not blocked with leaves and dirt . no water should get under the bonnet . unless you have been useing a pressure washer. no extra seals needed....

More likely your battery is on the way out.

Hi, new battery earlier in the year. Do not power wash. Possible reason is that no channel to top of wings to take water away from engine bay maybe?
