SIM cards xc60
Which data SIM cards do people recommend for Volvo On Call? I believe VOLVO use vodaphone. Are there any that are not fixed term or monthly charges?

Most of us use 3’s Internet With Legs SIM
Three Mobile Pay As You Go Mobile Broadband 24 GB data SIM https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01M3VJ2...ing=UTF8&psc=1 Quote:
Bear in mind that if you use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, it’ll use your phone’s data.

AS my mobile phone has a hotspot capability I use the phones SIM too provide connectivity for the car. So I only have to get and maintain one SIM and it is from the same company as the cable for internet, so I negotiated a combined package for unlimited phone data with a 100Meg cable connection. As I do not need a data connection faster than 100meg I got a price reduction as well.

That's what I thought. Is the OP talking about their own SIM for enabling the 'internet connected car' functions?

Well, just in case Volvo On Call is all you are concerned about, that should work without you getting a SIM. But I guess that is not all you are after ...

Richard, I'm with Pete. My XC60 has just reached it's 12m birthday and Ive put in a Three 24gb/ 24mth preloaded Data Sim- you can get them from amazon or Argos, amongst others. I had previously used them on my RR Sport, didn't want to face a monthly PaYG fee. They worked fine in the RR and have been likewise in the XC60. For a few £s it's worth having full functionality.
