Default Temp sensor change

As a comparison, the invoice from my local Volvo garage for diagnosing a faulty sensor five years ago is:

Labour to diagnose and replace: 72.95
Parts: Sensor 31.20, 1litre A/Freeze 5.50

Total 109.65 + VAT = 131.58

It was more than I wanted to pay at the time as money was tight but felt that taking it to a Volvo specialist to get the correct diagnosis first time round and not having to faff around with seized screws in the cold and wet was worth it.

Previous: 2000 Volvo V40 T4; 1981/2 265 (x2); 1988 740 Turbo Estate.
Current: 1998 Volvo V70 T5.
1958 Sunbeam Rapier Series ll; 2001 BMW E46 330 Ci Cabriolet; 1999 VW Golf V5
