  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Got my self a new straight door to swap for my dented one, while stripping it down yesterday for paint i thug fingered the clips for the bottom trim moulding
I have had a look on Skandix but with no luck

This is the moulding



This is the clip (well tis is most of it)

I tried this site and it seems handicapped. The only engines it listed for a 2012 XCV70 were both 3.0 litre 6 cylinder and it won't allow you to go further without selecting an engine. I also checked for the V70 and it behaved the same. So it's not much use unless you're driving a 3.0 model!

are these just held on with clips,or are there hidden screws?

There are four clips and two prongs, i summise you prise the moulding away from the door to clear the prongs then slide it off the clips.

If you have a bit of time you can get to the inside of those clips by taking off the inner door metal panel, this video shows how to get it all out (you don't need to take the door locks out though).

You will need Torx 25 and 10mm socket.
