Two Bank Valves.
One Intake Valve.
Undo torx screw and pull upwards , recover O-ring.
Easy to check by putting 12 Volts across pins. Should see pintle move or hear a good healthy click.
Not as easy to clean as 5 cyl VVT .

You experts will be appalled , mech tested fuel pump on the back of info given by me ( second hand from AA patroller ) , he said he found no fault with the pump but suspected that the fuel was lower than would be desired, I.e not enough petrol
He put a couple of gallon in , hey presto drives beautiful.

I did tell AA guy that it was low on petrol so he checked fuel flow at engine head and found it flowing .
Mech says don’t trust the fuel indicator , he has experienced before that low petrol would not supply enough pressure to feed the engine.
Anyway he’s sorted it and it’s fine , just before I get pelters , it isn’t me who drives the car ,well I will from now on, tbf won’t go there .
Now onto all the next few problems .
Thanks for everyone’s help .Much appreciated on this cracking forum.
