Default Engine management fault codes P0069, P2227

Hi all
I have an engine management warning light showing on my car since Monday. Reader shows fault codes
P0069 manifold absolute pressure barometric pressure correlation
P2227 barometric pressure range/performance

Car runs fine sometimes although there does seem to be a loss of power and other times it seems to go into a kind of limp home mode where I get no boost.
From reading on here it looks like it might be the MAP sensor?? From what I can tell this is located by the intercooler. It's my first day off tomorrow so intend to have a good look over the car.
Anybody got any tips or ideas that might help?
Many thanks

Dont know about the codes but your explanation is quite similar to what happened with my previous XC70 D5.

In my case it was a crack in the manifold.

Cheers fingers crossed it’s just the MAP sensor. Couldn’t find any leaks or splits in any of the turbo/intercooler hoses. Just waiting for the sensor to be delivered now

Hope that sorts it out for you.

Mine was down by one of the injectors from memory (or so the "experts" said).

Hi,

i am having the exact same issues and same codes. i have lost boost about 4 times now and it is becoming more common... the garage has said it might be worth getting a carbon clean with will remove all of the muck form the EGR, DPF etc which will hopefully clear it.

Just wondering if you manged to find out what yours was?

Thanks!
