Default forte products advice

im thinking of flushing my engine on the next oil change and thought of using forte's flush. my concern is the oil that gets left in the oil cooler would be contaminated with engine flush, so presumably i need to disconnect the oil cooler hoses . also i was going to try some of forte's rubber seal rejouvinator, is this stuff any good or bad for the engine? and last but not least, they do a specialist injector cleaner, has anyone else tried this and if so was there an improvement in performance?

its integrated into the radiator, on the drives side of the rad you should see the 2 small pipes going into it

personally i choose to flush my oil with the same type of oil as i run the vehicle on, 5w/40 halfords fully synthetic....i am constantly berated by certain individuals who think this is un-necessary....
basicly i drain 5 litres of oil from my car, which leaves (according to volvo...they should know) .9 litres in the turbo cooler, which due to its location cannot be drained as the inlet and outlet pipe enter the engine above the sump and therefore gravity is not apparant...
the oil left can be drained but this involves the removal of the hose, which is awkward, or flushed out and redrained...
i recon i can used one lot of my 5litre oil for five flushes as after this time it is a bit dark....
1 drain oil
2 replace oil filter
3 put in 5 litres of my 5w/40 flush oil
4 run car for 20 minutes
5 drain flush oil for reuse
6 fill with fresh 5w/40 oil
its a bit labourious i accept but whats the point in changing your oil and leaving the equivalent of two oil filters worth in there....
cheers

i have never tried the seal rejuvinator although i have heard it can be sucessful in air conditioning systems..my understanding of it is that it juices dry seals...if your car has been well looked after i cant see why any seals would have dried out... is there anything specific to think you need this additive or is it just a "peace of mind" thing...
i understand that redex do a injector cleaner, however cannot comment as to its effectivness
cheers

I am just trying that in my V90, 2 dosages from the one bottle.
As far as I know it just de-cokes the internals of the fuel system.
Whether that improves things though, not sure as in my case I do not know how coked up things are.
But a new car gets a batch of treatments from me to ensure that it is in as good conditions as possible.

My knowledge of Redex products from the past is favourable. Their bottles "do exactly what it says on the bottle"..
