PV: - PV544 chassis number

G'day Folks,

Quick question to which I suspect I already know the answer - but nevertheless confirmation would be nice.

Do all Volvo cars made before 1962 have no stamped chassis numbers other than the handy removable tag in the engine bay?

Update - I've just bought a period spares catalogue and it says at the front that it was only ID tags until week 33 1966 - after that they started to stamp the chassis number in the body (of a PV)
