Default 1800e oil pressure sensor wiring

(first post here)
I've taken over a '71 project that was partially disassembled... The body work is fairly straightforward, but I want to see if I can get the engine to start before I go much further (if I have to pull it, I'd rather start there). I have a "T" two wire plug near the battery, one appears to go to the oil pressure sensor, the other is unclear. Can someone quickly advise where blue and the yellow wires go? Also, an English wiring diagram would help,
Cheers, Kerry

Welcome. It’s not exactly a Tee, 2wires in and 2 out. The other wire goes to the oil temperature sender in the oil pan.

Kerry;

Welcome to this forum!

Wiring diagram for a '71 1800E here: http://www.sw-em.com/1800E%20Wiring%20Diagram.jpg
...not the cleanest, but hopefully enough to get you started...Item 67 is the Oil Temp Sensor C1800 writes of, connected to gauge (66), but (BR)own wire colors are given for this...and because color codes generally correspond very well to the Volvo Wiring Diagrams, I would say this deserves some further study.

Oil Pressure Sender is Item 30, but this is shown with (SB) Black wires.

I see multiple places where (Y)ellow wires are used, mostly on lighting circuits, and (BL)ue is Voltage Stabilizer output to gauges (at least...there may be more occurrences).

Good Hunting!

Clearly I have found the right forum... I appreciate the links. Those will help, especially since the EFI has been disassembled and I have only really played with carbs before...

(c1800, I see you are in Calgary as well, if you ever get board and want to drop over, I am in Signal Hill)

Cheers,
Kerry
