Accellorator pedal to the floor, crank the engine till it's starts when she does the revs will go sky high, don't be gentle, they don't like being moved short distances.

Battery?

...in fairness you are not giving yourself a fighting chance in sorting out the issue, as you provided literally 1 line of text trying to sort out issue that may have possible solutions for few forum pages, sooooo..... you know... :>

Are you based in Leven, East Yorkshire?

You could have a dead starter motor, they can go without warning.

It is possible the PEM is gone (pump electronic module) thats the box under the rear seats that has all wires going out of it and going to pump.
-did you check old pump if its working when 12v applied to it?
-did you check the new pump with 12v to confirm its working? is it new Volvo unit or aftermarket or used one?
- when you say there is no power going out to pump - did you check voltage on the wires going out of PEM to pump when trying to start the car? only then it would command the voltage out to pump.
-did you do any more checks before you replaced fuel pump or just got new one on acount of "AA guy advice"? I was in similar position 2 months ago and I know its a very expensive and labour intensive procedure, in fact thats tha LAST thing fuel related you want to be gone on our AWDs.
- VIDA or dealership is probably your best chance as only this software would allow you to pull PEM related codes or even trigger the fuel pump test
