Rear wiper motor slow

OK it's very cold today, but would that cause the motor to go very very slowly? Any other likely causes? I don't think the relay or cabling is faulty because it starts and stops at the right position.

Maybe a little WD40?Never wrong.

It definitely would not be the relay in the CEM as that would either work perfectly fine or not work at all.

Could it be that the grease in the mechanism is dried and hardened? If not that, maybe it is an electrical issue with a drop in voltage

It was fine once it warmed up again, I might get the mechanism out and dismantle it at some point.

I don't think it's electrical because the mechanic has recently renewed the connection after it failed last year.
