Panoramic Roof

I'm in a real dilemma over speccing a panoramic roof on my prospective XC60 order. I'd never given it a second thought, but our test drive car had it and the rest of the family are now sold on one.

Whats people's experiences? Do you love it or loath it? Do you feel it's worth the money (as it's expensive to add on a PCH lease)?. Anything to consider (especially for when I've got four bikes on the roof rack)? Any leak issues etc?

On my 3rd car with a panoramic roof I will say no more.

Personally I’d never had one before but 2 weeks into my new one and I love it, one of my favourite parts of the car and like you say the family love it too!

I have 1 on my XC90 2017 and I have no leaks or anything else . It makes the interior light and airy so not claustrophobic . With regard to the bikes I shouldn't think it makes any difference if you have a roof rack.

We just love ours. Nothing else to say except you can live without it if necessary.

Ah goddam it.

I’d specced one via xenium if I was buying. Have dropped it as now going to lease.

But reading this makes me want it again and I haven’t ordered yet!

I was inching into a car park with a height restriction the other day and the pano roof was perfect for checking I was clear of the barrier!

The absolute main reason for ordering a new V90 rather than waiting a few months and getting a second hand (much cheaper) one was the sun roof. My last car didn't have one and I really missed it. In my opinion (head down) if the choice were air con or sun roof the roof would win every time.

Roll on a warm day and a run in the country.

We have never had one before but can't imagine being without it now.

Obviously it hasn't been the season to have it open so looking forward to that soon.

No brainer for me.

If your budget can stretch to it I would go for the xenium pack which includes the panoramic roof and 360 cameras etc.
