Why would you find it necessary to start your car from a watch with very limited battery life, and known security issues?

Strange question.
So pressuming that you accept that’s is ok from a security angle to “start your car” from an iPhone then what is the difference in security issues to use your Apple Watch?
Do you own an Apple Watch in which case you must be aware of the direct security relationships between the Watch & the connected iPhone? It is the strength of this security links that has allowed all the world’s major banks & credit card companies to open up Apple Pay to the latest Apple Watch, so if these institutions are comfortably with the security issues then I am sure Volvo are?
So rather than fumbling around for your iPhone it is so much easier to just use your ever present wrist watch.

I don’t know about you, but whilst I charge my iPhone every night my Apple Watch with its excellent battery life can now last over 2 days........
