Default New guy, 460 mileometer

Hi all, new poster here. Just got myself a nice 460 been driving it about a week and just now the mileometer has stopped working. I presume its just the cog broken, so I've already ordered a replacement, just wondering of anyone has fitted one before and if there is any pitfalls when doing it?

Common failure on 480's too.

Jaster has done a good write up for refurb and cog replacement on the 480 forum.

Might be worth a read: -

Thanks very much, I think they are pretty similar, so has given me a good idea.
