Have you ever known a business not to increase its prices. It is a given that the prices will go up regardless, even if there is Brexit was cancelled.
But it is all Project Fear as the EU has already agreed that goods and passengers travel by road will not be affect until 31st Dec 2019

My dad had a Montego and my mum had an Allegro in the 90's. Montego was a 2.0 HLS model and was rapid! The Allegro was a **** can on wheels that rusted and fell to bits. Stupid cream colour too like the below vehicle. Engine sounded horrible.

Yes, but look at Amazons, unless they were very coseted cars they were full of filler or rusted.
Wings around headlights, door bottoms , sills.. Knew a few that had been patched and re sprayed before 8 years old, yeh they looked good but only because they had been repaired.

Don't even mention Vauxhall or ford's of the same era, they were sprayed with rust before the paint went on.

Paul.

You are right, Paul. We tend to forget just how poor cars used to be in this regard. We bought one of the last Maxis at 6 months old in 1982. It was in Champagne Biege, and rusted so badly that it needed a bottom half respray just 12 months later.

Apart from my Mini, it was the newest and remains the most expensive car that we have ever bought. Bodily, my almost 20 years old V70 is in better condition today than the Maxi was at the same number of months!

Regards. John.

I wouldn't worry too much about the supply of replacement vehicle parts. If there's no fuel then parts won't be wearing out...
