I can feel your pain jd. A lot of it is down to high fuel prices as you know, but i also think that Volvo's are not everyone's cup of tea. My T5 is staying with me until it starts falling to bits.

T5 S40's are not that bad on fuel really, my Bro in-law has an Audi 2.0FSi and is getting the same MPG as me on the same kinda usage. The beauty of the T5 is that it doesn't mind being pootled around at very low revs - a bit like a diesel but it pulls out a massive trump card when overtaking safely.

I hope you get a buyer, and you will, and it'll be right up their street for sure (especially at the price).

I think in this current climate the T5 makes a stonking 'weekender' - you get the benefit of driving a modern £23K car with (tunable) 220bhp for less than £6K

I just drive mine less!

any car with 200bhp+ will not be THAT much better than the Volvo ... so you'll need to downgrade a fair way to really feel the fuel benefits.

Figured Id quick reply this message so you see it as well Mikey, are either of your or Fentons T5's still up for sale? I ended up in the middle of a 4 car pile up so I have to say goodbye to my car which means I can now finally get a T5!!

Im not sure whether to be sad at my car being scrapped or the fact I now have the perfect reason to buy the car I've wanted since my Dad bought an S60 T5 a couple years ago and I realised just how brilliant these engines are.
