As long as it's priced to reflect the fact it's done twice[or more]the average annual mileage I see no reason not to buy it, subject to the usual checks/test drive of course.

As all the above say.
Don't forget the timing belt maybe due very soon so make sure the price reflects that. If unsure call your local volvo dealer and they will gladly tell you when.

Yes, without doubt.

I have had a 360GLT 270,000mls a V40 370,000mls both 2lt petrol. My current V40 was bought at 90,000mls unseen of ebay with full Volvo history - again 2lt petrol.

Service history and condition is everything, more so than total mileage.

I would consider 100k as nothing for that type of vehicle provided it has been serviced as required.

Timing belt is 144k on the VEA iirc manual or auto? Auto worth flushing the box with new fluid. If a manual you need to check clutch and flywheel. Dealer history and serviced every 18k...... should be good for another 100k saw an older one with 150k for £4K recently.....

Seen a few that sort of age and mileage for £10k ish considering they were £35k ish... seems cheap!
