Hi,

We offer the Rica upgrades, and we can remap your car without taking your ecu out, but by programming your ecu via the OBDII port.

Here is a link to your car...

http://www.rica-uk.com/viewcar.aspx?vehicle=136

an optional softloader is available which will allow you to chop and change from standard to the upgrade as you please.

I've just had mine remapped recently. I enquired to everywhere in the North West and EVERYWHERE said for a 2.0D 2005 they would have to remove the ECU and take it for the day. Sigh. RICA was plugged in for 20 mins and fantastic results. All other companies said they could achieve about 160 bhp but RICA does 196 bhp (approx)

It seems expensive but it is a different car! It's like going from a 4 pot to a 6. Some acceleration difference but it is the usable power that is more noticeable. Drives like a petrol now and just keeps on accelerating. Also no more of that dropping down a gear or two and finding you have no power. More friendly and useful car now. Fuel economy stayed exactly the same for me however even though some companies claim 15% more mpg...its bollocks in my opinion.

I really would recommend RICA and getting the job done properly. I went to the guy in Preston. He was lovely, knows his stuff and just gets on with the job.

Any questions just ask.
