Default 1997 850 2.5 GLT 20v for swap or sale

Hello everyone,

I have reached a point where I can't hold on to my "Black Beauty"..
Reason?!..We are relocating to main land Europe(Eastern Europe) and although we are/(have always been) happy with this car here,in UK..it will be unpractical to drive it "on the other side of the road" to our new location. If I well understood overtaking can be a real challenge.

As we both(my partner and I) love this particular Volvo..it would be ideal to swap instead of selling it for pennies,
We know that is a very slim chance but..
Does anyone have a left hand drive (more or less similar)and interested to swap?

We are well aware that we should also consider buying offers..our aim is around £1200..or ono.
Braking it will probably easily achieve few extra hundreds on top of that but I would so hate to that..therefor not an option(not for me!)

..to be continued with technicalities..

I'll gladly answer any question..
As I said we're very happy with this car ..it's running very well
It's MOTied till August 2010 and Taxed 31Jan2010.
Driven 2000 miles since last service(when oil, fuel and air filters have been changed)
The car has 4 quality brand tyres with at least 4-5mm trim.
A/C is very cold(rarely used)
Volvo dealer service history until 142 000.
The current mileage is 181 155 ..The cam belt was done at 162 000(the silver sticker can be noticed in the engine picture)
CD-player inside the boot
Many features can be seen in the pics..such as:
Half leather,walnut,Sunroof,tow bar,etc..

The car has some minor scratches but as it can be seen in the pics it doesn't take anything from the cool appearance

OK..I got your point ..
Personally I wouldn't be put off by that.
IMO.. the mileage is less significant , it's the maintenance which matters.
As we all know a volvo can go so much more than 180 with the right TLC..which this car has.
BTW..There is no rust at all.

Revolver,

Love the car. But Blue 8's observation is not unreasonable. If a lower offer is of interest let me know. Unfortunately I am in Inverness and so mechanics of physical transfer would be complicated.
