Heat gun on your XC70 bumpers
Has anyone tried this?
https://youtu.be/R9tDq1oRy9U Looks like a better idea than back to black, seeing as that lasts about 2 weeks max. Worth removing the bumpers before attempting? Also, I've noticed that the side skirts on my '03 seem a bit bluer than the rest of the greyed bumpers.

Try first with some quality liquid black shoes wax, you'll be surprised

Peanut Butter
I have also heard that Peanut Butter is supposed to work wonders (the smooth stuff, not the crunchy!)
Haven't tried it myself, life is too short & I prefer to eat my peanut butter ;-) |

Used the heat gun on my VW bumpers which only lasted about 6 months, went back to usual coating but it didn't go on as well after using the heat gun so wouldn't do it again. |

Oli S,
The best product I have used for the bumper trims is Auto finesse Revive. It's relatively cheap and lasts weeks. It is very easy to apply and doesn't have a glossy or greasy finish. I was impressed with it. It works very well on the wiper arms and scuttle panel also. Hope this helps, thanks Jonathan |

I use BOILED Linseed Oil on my XC70 bumpers and work it in with a small sponge.
A little goes a long way, It's cheap and it easily lasts a month. Very quick to apply as well.

Using a heat gun does work for a short while[used to do it on Corsas quite often. The main problem is without a deal of care you can also warp the plastic and then the only thing you can realistically do is replace them.
