Default Door Mirror lamp V70

Can anybody tell me please how to change the lamp in the wing mirror of a V70? The manual is not vey helpful!!

Hi and welcome to the forums. I haven't got a V70 but I take it you mean the door mirror direction indicator? Tip the mirror glass fully up first to expose the lower edge of the mirror. To gain access to most mirrors, you have to carefuly remove the glass using a wall paper scraper or similar and prise out the mirror from it's clips. Then remove the element wires.

Default Wing mirror lamp.

Thanks for the response. No this is not a direction lamp, it is a courtesy light which comes with all the other lights when you push the yellow button on the key fob. I am being told that the only way to do it is to remove the mirror. Seems a bit drastic to me!

(Think this might be in the wrong section because the older V70s didn't have courtesy lamps... only the newer ones...)
