Is the Torque app worth it as a diagnostic tool?
I'd read mention of the Torque app (android, maybe it exists for apple too, don't know) on this forum and downloaded the free version. I was interested mainly in seeing any fault codes. I know it's a generic app, and indeed doesn't specifically support Volvo, but I wondered if the paid version offers anything more.
The free version displays lots of interesting info but I've really no idea if it goes beyond that. I know the best/proper diag tool is that Vida dice. |

I have both. I always have bluetooth adapter in car for torque app in case something bad happens whilst out. Use vida for when i have time. I've found torque to be very useful but it does not pick up some errors vida does. This may be my cheap bluetooth obd adaptor though.

Anyone had any luck getting torque to run on P80s? Specifically the pre-ME7 cars? I cant seem to get any live readings or even a connections with my Motronic 4.3 850.
