Question boooooost

hi my good friend has just bought a V70R manual fwd. and was asking me what he should turn the boost up to (bar) on the bleed valve when he fits it with the gauge. what would be safe without having to remap or adjust fueling etc...

hi has his car got the ME7 ecu (blue badge grill & no throttle cable) if it has then he won't be able to fit a bleed valve because the ecu will detect it isn't right & throw a warning light. Also a manual boost controller (roughly the same price as a bleed valve) & works alot better

13psi is considered to be safe to answer your question

think it was late 98-early 99 they introduced the ME7. The best way is to check under the bonnet, if its got no throttle cable then i'm afraid he won't be able to do it
